Sage

An Old One
This is a very old picture. I think it was one of the very first ones I took when I bought my Canon last year. I'm not really sure. I just know that the color of these flowers makes me smile!

Ferns
It amazes me that you can see the spores on this fern...I have this framed in my house.

Nic in Action

Corner Kick
I have two soccer playing kids, which takes up the majority of our free time during this part of the year. This is my younger son this past Spring taking a corner kick for his team. The composition of the picture isn't very good (who is that man in tan pants, anyway???), but he's showing good form and this is his personal favorite picture. So, hat's off to Nic for the beginning of soccer season.

Is the party over?

Merle
This is my friend, Beth's dog. I took this at her daughter's 6th birthday and it was clear he wanted all of the loud little girls to just go away!

Boy, is this kid cute...

A.W.
With apologies to Philip for not asking permission to use this picture, I just couldn't resist. This is his son in a picture I took in the spring during soccer practice. He and I were killing time while the big kids played. I was asking him to make different faces (happy, sad, mad, scared, etc...), he would make the face and I would snap a picture of it. This was his "happy" face. This is just one of the darned cutest kids on the planet, I do believe. Just look at those eyes.

Soccer Tourney Weekend

Header
My son is the one in the red shirt, trying to head the ball into the opposing team's goal. He's in a soccer tournament this weekend, so today's picture is in tribute to him! And, no...the shot didn't go in!

Conch

Reflection
When we were at the beach a few weeks ago, my sister in law was determined to get a picture of this shell on the beach. We cleaned it off and set it right along the shore line. She lives down there and is decorating her house in a beachy kind of way! This picture is blown up and framed in her house.
